Considered an alternative method for Managing Panic Attacks, Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT for short has helped people all over the world overcome anxiety disorders naturally. Acupuncture, hypnotherapy and aromatherapy are considered unconventional or alternative Cures for panic attacks.
EFT is simply a Meridian Energy Therapy, similarly to acupuncture or acupressure. Commonly used in the practice of Chinese medicine, acupuncture uses long needles which are inserted lightly at precise points on the body to unblock disrupted energy flow in the meridian system.

Dealing with the loss of someone dear to us is painful and difficult to handle. When my girlfriend’s mom died of course it was devastating. Shortly after her mom’s passing she started to realize how much she was forgetting things. Her forgetfulness really started to terrify her because she was always on the ball, super organized and a perfectionist. Forgetting an appointment or misplacing her keys again and again would throw her straight into a anxiety attack. However, she immediately thought that this forgetfulness must be from some sort of undiagnosed disease and then those thoughts would attack her… what if it’s cancer or a brain tumor? What if I die? Why can’t I get this Panic away from me?

After hanging out with my boyfriend’s daughters and a few of their friends, it was decided that one of their top fears that caused them the most anxiety was getting up to speak in the front of their class: some even resorted to taking a “zero” instead of doing the assignment. I asked each one of them why they had such intense fear that would literally stop them from doing it at all; here are some of their answers:
- What if I don’t look pretty enough up there.
- I will be so nervous my voice will tremble and I’ll sound like an idiot.
- There’s a boy I like in my class and I’ll be too embarrassed.
- Forget it, I have a pimple.
- Way too many eyes are on me at once.
- What if someone laughs at me?
- What if my clothes aren’t nice enough.
- What if I don’t sound smart enough?
- What if they don’t understand what I’m saying?
- I’m too shy.
For these teen girls these are very real, debilitating circumstances. For those who followed through they couldn’t remember a word they said. They stated they felt slightly dizzy, off balance, and very nauseous, their hearts were beating so loud that they couldn’t hear themselves think. Their bodies were also shaking uncontrollably. Find a way to fight back and win the battle over your anxiety and panic! If every situation with public speaking leaves you feeling exhausted, hopeless or discouraged it’s time to learn how to conquer anxiety and panic for good! The girls admitted feeling extremely anxious to the point of feeling paralyzed by their fear and surprisingly they didn’t even know that it could be an anxiety or panic attack.

It’s not surprising that a number of people would prefer Coping with panic attacks without prescription medication. It seems that prescription medication is one of the biggest killers of big stars of late. Reports reveal that prescription medication has been linked to thousands of fatalities yearly. Reasons are usually due to taking too much or mixing medications.
The problem with anxiety medication is that it only treats Anxiety symptoms and not the cause of it. Other concerns for patients are that anti-anxiety medication can be addictive and cause unwanted side effects. Medicines that are prescribed hold the same risks as street drugs and should be taken with precaution.
